algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello All,

Could someone help me offset a wire model in 3 dimensions?  The goal is to turn it into something that I could then cut out on a laser cutter.  I know there is an offset on surface command and also an ocTree command that might be able to help but I am not sure how to use them exactly.  In addition, is there a way to fill those implied surfaces once the lines are offset so that I would then not need to turn them into surfaces in rhino?  Thank you in advance for the help!  I have attached my model and some pictures of it as well.

Hi Steve, this plug-in Bowerbird has a nice offset component.

You could also try to use the "Pipe" component to make the lines thicker and then make a Brep|plane intersection.

Hope these are helpful

Thanks Alex, playing around with it now
