algorithmic modeling for Rhino
SOme time ago we made a workshop on parametric architecture, and one part of the process was to map a park area with three different values (like publisity, safety and artificiality). To collect them in one type of data I used color with it RGBA values.
I wonder if it is possible to design independent customisable component-object with or without any methods ( i mean any algorithm inside) first of all to store data not as several lists but glued together as a list of "objects".
I hope that idea is more or less clear...

You mean, something like a "group," but that functions with data as well as geometry? I like this idea a lot, for many applications it could replace some of the more complicated uses of data tree management. I suggested something similar a long time ago (here), with the idea that these "object" types could be given names; in your example, an object called "park properties" which could be composed of your three different numerical values (or potentially more than 3).
I'd be interested to hear David's take on the feasibility of this.
Yes, that what I am talking about, also meaning to give them a name
I started writing a custom-data-type a while back, can't remember now if I gave up because it was too difficult, gave up because I had more important things to do or just went to get some tea and then got distracted.
