algorithmic modeling for Rhino

object layers form Rhino and writing it in excel

Good evening,

I am working on an analysis for a small town structure and sending a sample enclosed as Rhino (the original file contains many more objects).

The buildings are to be categorized by age of construction, Type (typologies) and by districts and at the end printed in a excel file.

The original buildings are normal Brep shapes and the categories are delivered by curves which are assigned by respective layers.

I was thinking of comparing the buildings centers with the categories curves in order to get their layer’s information. I was able to do such a thing with numbers so far, but as I have to work with layers I realized that my abilities in List managing are not so well developed as I guessed.

Any hints how I could do it?

Thanx a lot,

Gus
