algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi there,

In my model I would like to display the numeric cross section forces for My and/or Mx, in the BeamView component. But the values are all displayed as 0.00 (in kNm I suppose?). This is probably because the values are too small as it is a small scale model with individual segments up to 70 mm. The deformation and the filled planes for these cross section forces are displayed correctly (See attachment).

Is there a way to get these numeric values otherwise?

Best,

Andreas

Hi Andreas,

you can set the number format and the number of digits of the cross section forces display in the 'karamba.ini'-file. Change the entry left to 'crosec_force_number_fmt'.

The 'karamba.ini'-file can be found in the Karamba3d installation folder ('...Rhinoceros 5.0 (64-bit)\Plug-ins\Karamba'). You get there e.g. by double-clicking on the Karamba3d desktop icon.

Best,

Clemens

Thank you Clemens, that helped!
