Number Slider real limit?

you could use a F(x) component to set the slider between 1 and 999 and the formula translating it to e6

It looks like the digit scroller does what I need.

next question: can the digit scroller display in scientific format?

Nope, only decimals.

You can combine two sliders (or scrollers, or knobs) to create a scientific notation input though (see attached).
