Notches on a surface

HI, I apologize if this question has been asked already,

HI, I was wanted to create notches between the intersection of two surfaces, so when fabricated they fit together without the aid of glue, also the surfaces follow a curve thus making some of the intersections at awkward locations. However, I have had trouble creating these notches, any advice?
