algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Normals

I am having trouble with finding the normals to objects. I was going through the tutorials to learn GH on the site: http://digitaltoolbox.info/grasshopper-intermediate/sublist/

However it is an old version of GH. I played around with this but my normals seem to be all over the place instead of comming out exactly in the W (local z) direction.

 

Can anyone look at he attached file to help me out?

Try using SDL for the line.

I am also not sure if I am using the reverse vector properly but that seems to be the only way I get the normals to appear ontop. Seems very different from the tutorial for the older version of GH...
