Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

Is it possible to display in grasshopper mesh faces as in rhino viewport,

when  coloring back faces?

For instance I have a mesh that has front face in grey and back in red?

It is one face.

No, not unless you do the drawing yourself via some custom code, in which case Grasshopper is out of the equation.

here's a super dumb script with a display override that draws backfaces differently. It achieves this by literally offsetting the mesh inward slightly so it might not be the most efficient.

Thanks Andrew, I wish it would be a a method without offset:)

Thanks to Clement on the Discourse Forum I got a version working that doesn't require any offsetting.
