Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello Everybody,

I've 3 problems here :

1. I'd like to flatten the hexa panels made with Lunchbox. Is it possible ?

2. The division made by Lunchbox creates a "joint" line who divides a serie of hexagones in  2 parts all along this joint. How could I join those parts to have entire panels ?

3. I'd like to get the normals to the centers of my panels, so i can draw the pin fixations  of my panels.

Thanks a lot for your help.

I put the GH definition, the part where i'm block is on the right side.

Here's the GH definition i've done to planarize the panels. I don't understand why it's not working.

Thx for the help.

Nobody to help ?

Here.

Having a non-regular cone doesn't help here :P

Probably my "corrections" sucks....

Definition became too big, and slow.

I added too much components, probably there is a way to make all this simplyer and faster.

(enable surface components marked in black, 1 at time)

But, hey! It works! :D

Regards.

Maje

EDIT:

Ah, right.

About your point 1, i think it's impossible to have planar hexagons around a cone filling all surface.

OR flat but with holes everywhere (seam between hexagons ALL disjoined).

OR curved (fractions of the original cone) but filled, as the definition here.
