Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all, I'm fairly new to Grasshopper and am hitting a road block on a project. This will be very simple for most of you.

I have a curved surface with unequal lengths on each side. When I do a divide domain (or a ptSrfDomainNum with Paneling Tools), the grid comes out past my selected surface. Instead I want to create a grid by dividing each curve so the grid conforms to the surface.

At this point I would like to take the points from the divided horizontal lines and connect them vertically to make a grid that conforms to the surface.

Any other approaches to a solution would be welcome and appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like you already have the grid. The points coming out of the Divide components should be in a grid structure, provided your lines are ordered correctly. You can connect those directly into the Paneling Tools Cellulate or GenerateFaces components.

Thank you Kyle, that worked great. I needed the right tool for the right job.
