Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This may exist or have been said before but it would be really convenient if GH had a "value" state saver with a toggle. Allowing you to save various slider/input/parameter values of an entire definition to quickly switch between different overall solutions. Similar to the saving views in rhino but instead of views its all the current data at that time in a definition. Also, maybe a way to bake geometry with colors layers or material values assigned in GH. Any way prolly all been said before. Just a thought.

Unless I am misinterpreting your description, that 'state' feature already exists under the "Solution" menu in the Grasshopper window.  You can save, restore, and delete solution states based on slider values.
