NEW DEFINITON PROBLEM

hi all, I created this definiton with some help on this forum but I can not apply it on curfed surfaces...  as you can see , it has to be a planar surface how can I solve that problem? 

and second question is  I am interior architecture 4th year student now I am doing this project as you can see last picture My question is about how can I achieve this pattern on curved surfaces I downloaded this pattern on internet  and tried to bend it but not created with grasshopper. If I can solve those problems my project will be perfect... because some times it ll be light sometimes it ll be just pattern on the wall. btw project is belong to me not from internet...
