[New at this] - Lofting Lines that I made in grasshopper (contours)

I started grasshopper yesterday.
So what i want to do is say you have 4 contours lines at 1 meter intervals, use grasshopper to generate contours at lets say 1cm each

So i did so by divide the lines into points, connect those points with lines, then divide those lines to make more points that i then connect again to make more

Great! so that works, now i want to loft it.
Doing my final output to the loft command doesnt work.

However, lets say i bake those lines, make a standalone loft command in grasshopper and tell it to set multiple curves to the lines i baked, it works

How can i do this so its in one go

TLDR lines wont loft, have to bake and bring them back

Hi.

You should flatten Loft's "C" input.(RMB on "C" input ---> choose "Flatten")

Thanks! Really appreciate it

If you dont mind, could you explain what the Flatten did and why it worked. Also I dont fully understand what the pathmapper and interpolate did in the definition i made, kind of just looked up a bunch of precedents

Thanks again

Hi. michaelo.

If you want to improve gh skill, or get better understanding about "Data Tree", "Data Maching",and so on...,you'll need to start from the beginning. There are so many helpful tutorials including this.
