algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Negative decimal converting to positive at point construct

     I am sure that I am not understanding something very simple with this issue.  I am hoping to keep negative number conversions to a minimum and have been struggling with the output of my [negative z coordinate slider] converting to a positive coordinate at the [point construct module] output. The bottom panels trace to the issue.

Any advice is appreciated.

Hello Mike,

you giving to z input of right construct point component, the Pt output of the left construct point component. the z input expects a value, instead you are providing a point (x,y,z values). why not use the slider directly?

Thanks that works. It was incorrect for me to feed into a point construct then into another point construct.
