Create Columns on Grid Between 2 Surfaces

I am working on a drawing for my thesis, this is simple idea.

Create a pipe between a surface and another surface, using matching grids on both. It's to represent how the gridshell is built.

1 - build grid on both surfaces that align in top view

2 - create vertical line between vertically aligned points

3 - pipe the line
