algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Need help locating points at intersections between two group/ types of curves.

Alright I have exhausted all my possible search phrases and time to figure this out. I am trying to recreate a rendered surface texture as a real surface for fabrication. Attached is a picture of the pattern that I am recreating and Grasshopper screenshot of my projected grid on to the base surfaces:

My thought was to use a grid to create points/origins for the holes. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
