algorithmic modeling for Rhino

NEED HELP FOR A DEFINITION PLEASE

Hi my problem is,

that I want to give the lines in group A the lenght of gorup B, BUT!! the new lines of group A should start with from a value of 3 unitl 6. So min.3 and max. 6, but all that lenght between 3 and 6 should be consider to the lenght of the lines in B.

Can please somebody help me with this problem?
