Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to replicate the surface in the attached images- it's simply a manipulated surface, doesn't seem too complicated to create, however I can't seem to succeed although I have some experience in Rhino. I thought that maybe a grasshopper definition can create the surface more accurately, but I don't really know where to start.

Does anyone have a definition or an already prepared 3dm file that resembles these images? (stairs do not have to be included)

I'm attaching my own failed experiments as well. thank you.

It's actually pretty simple and can be done without grasshopper. All you need is to make 2 curves, each with 5 points. Turn on points for both curves and move the middle point of each by the same distance (one point should be moved up and one should be moved down). Then tween the two curves and loft the entire set of curves to get the complete top surface. It's not absolutely necessary to tween the curves, but it results in a smoother result.
