algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, I have a problem to multiplicate my basic model - brep. I want to make a strukture like in a photo (I made this on my own, i want to have it in GH). The problem is that i can't make it go higher and randomly multiplicate in different directions. There is sth about center of pollar array next breps. Sometimes i want to have all 6 breps in one module, sometimes just 2/3/4/5 (randomly). In addition i made function that when the brep "see" parallel brep it links with it by lines. And it works :D
The last form it's not so important, i want the logic script. I get stuck in a point and don't know what to do. Can anyone help me to solve this problem, please?

I've given you a few pointers in the file.

Thank you so much! ;) I was thinking about this definition in another way but now i will work with yours and try to improve paths more logically to make sense with strings.
once again, thank you

What you did was good and you got there mostly yourself, just don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, you only need to adjust the definition cluster slightly to have control over the strings later on.
(Just in case you're not aware of clusters, just double click on it to see the components inside and remember to save and close it to go back out to the main file. And be careful with the input and output clusters - its a good idea to practice in a new file and cluster to learn some of the bugs, try starting off with a cluster that inputs and outputs points but then swap for a string using the same input output parameters that the plane was connected to.)
Also, the way I created random points might not be what you're after, you could create a random set of points within the brep (and\or create an imaginary pointplane sphere that is the definitions diameter away) and use them as the origin and placement point (the structure would then be more connected rather than being supported by skyhooks) and you would maybe still generate the random collection that you have now but then relocate objects with the transform objects to there calculated positions to be joined together.

adding colour is also easier when you understand your data tree structure
