algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I have been having some trouble with lofting multiple circles. The problem occurs when I rotate the top circle around one of its radii, basically the x-axis. It seems that not only is the circle rotating around that axis, but it is also twisting around the circle's normal. I have shown this by dividing the circle curve and passing it into Points List. It shows that point 0 is twisting around the curve as I change the circle's rotation angle. The resulting loft is thus twisted. Not sure what's up.  

I have attached a screen shot of the loft and the grasshopper file. Any ideas?

Instead of constructing the circle on a rotated plane, why not create the circle first and then rotate it. That way you get the same location of points. Also after rearranging the order of circle and rotation, make sure you switch of "adjust seams" on the loft options.

Thanks so much. That seems to have solved the problem, but Im not quite sure why. I used the same axis to rotate the circle as I initially used to rotate the plane. There shouldnt be any twisting I would think? Is this a bug?

I think I've found the problem.

If you use the Circle component you are creating a circle on that plane. If you choose the the Circle CNR component and supply a Plane as the centre point it does not recognise the plane attributes only the origin and therefore with the Normal you supply there are infinite possibilities as to where GH chooses to put the X or Y.
