Moving an object to different surfaces with multipule orientations

Dear lovely grasshopper community,

Small simple question. I have an object that I want to move to different surfaces that each has different orientation.

I dont want the object to deform, so bounding box is not an option for me. (Its okay if the object was too big for the surface and it actually doesnt fit perfectally). I just want to learn to orient it to different orientations.
