move point along line

Hi,

Am new to python and am working on the dynamic mobile based on car weights. but the problem is when I adjust the car weights the top midpoint which midpoint 3 mentioned in the script is not moving along the line. Can u guys help me in moving the point along the line??

The script is attached and the midpoint function which am referring to is mentioned in the script as midpoint3 so see the attachment and help me out. Thanks

Hi Gohan

the script is 150 lines long... could you write a shorter script only with that question?

In general, one way to move along a curve can be achieved with

rhinoscriptsyntax.CurveArcLengthPoint ( curve_id, length, from_start=True )

See ArcLength for a definition of this.

Thanks for the tip Guilio and am still working on it. I attached the files which is necessary but i had not reduced much lines coz all are necessary. I have also attached the midpoint3 from top view which i want to move along the line when i change the car values in gh. So help me in figuring out
