Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I tried to move mesh vertices along their srf normal, but can only do it by making a offset of the srf. Too complex srfs often cant be offset. Does anybody know why the mesh normals are so weirdly projected and could help me out with this? Like it's done with Weaverbird Stellate component, but for vertices.

I'm sure it's easy, but I dont seem to find the solution.

Many thanks,

Oliver

Hi.

Why don't you use actual "Move"?

The normal vector's coordinates are different points from what you want.

Thanks, Hyungsoo. I solved it.

I simply forgot that vectors are projected in domain 0-1 and couldn't make sense of the displaced points. In the snapshot you saw only a part of the script. I use move later in the script.
