Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I have a set of programs that have some identical parts of the routine. That is to say, the beginning of each program is different, but the middle and end are identical. Whenever I make adjustments to the mid/latter part of the routine, I must then manually propagate this change to all the other programs.

Is there a way to break up a grasshopper program like this into modules and then call them when I need them? In this way, I would have blocks of code MIDDLE.gh and END.gh that would be called in ROUTINE1.GH, ROUTINE2.GH....... This would obviously streamline/consolidate editing and generally make the routines look cleaner.

Thank you for your consideration.

Scripting components, clusters, userobjects?

Thank you for your reply, Petras.

Yes, I have seen these keywords and they look like promising solutions. As of yet, I have been unsuccessful in finding a resource to help me learn more about their implementation. I know where they are and a little of what they do, but how to use them in this case is lost on me. Any references or examples you might point me to would be especially helpful.

I should say I am familiar with clusters and have used them, but was hoping to have the files be separately called rather than clustered. I can make due with clusters, but was looking to try something new/more advanced. Thanks again.
