Hi there!

Not exactly a grasshopper question but might be related (I'd like it to interconnect to grasshopper3D !): is there any way / solution to check rhino model "quality" (layers, objects on correct layers, collision) - something similar to unit tests for the code?

probably a more clear version of the same question would be:

- is there any way to automate work/analysis of the rhino model from outside of rhino (with rhino3D installed, of course)

Hi,

I am not so sure with the python part since I do not use it but when you have access to rhino common you should be able to read a 3dm file without starting rhino and there is also this:
