algorithmic modeling for Rhino

model political systems with cellular automata?

I've seen grasshopper definitions with cellular automata.
I'm wondering if someone has attempted to give rules such as political structure (Communism or Capitalism) and see what evolves.

I have some ideas in my head of artifacts based on those outcomes, but I'm curious to know where to look. If anyone has any ideas of where to point me to, please share.

I think evolutionary/genetic algorithms would work better for this type of experiment. Wait till David releases Galapagos.

Btw, capitalism is an economic system. It's corresponding political philosophy would be classical liberalism.
