I used Giulio's perlin noise component, you can download it here:

But you could also use an image created in photoshop, for example, for the wavy effect of the facade.

Did you add some geometry for the mullion lines or is that texture mapped?
Texture mapped. I just placed the tile texture that comes with the RDK into the reflectivity slot, changed the diffuse color of the material to black.

Btw, to get proper horizontal reveals of the slabs on the parts that the waves go into the building (like in the original image) the best way is probably to boolean union the wavy curve with the rectangular curve (after offseting it outward a small distance).
All hail the render king!

Don't forget to add the handrails for the balconies. I think some of the bigger ones are actually occupyable...
