algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to develop an origami algorithm. I've looked for this on the forum and I've found the work of @Daniel Piker. On this basis I've tried to make my own origami. I've shaped the half of my module, the one which is marked red in the image 1. But I really can't understand how to rotate/mirror/move it  in order to have the whole module. 

Once I will be able to do that I will create a rectangular array so probably the job will be done, as my aim is to reproduce the miura ori fold. (image 1)

I enclose my code, if anyone understand what is wrong with it, this would be very helpful. 

Actually I'm at this point. (image 2). I spent my last few days trying, but I didn't find a solution yet. 

Please help me. I'm getting crazy!

Hi Mabel, do you still intend to make a sphere? If so this is not the pattern you are after, it cannot transform into a sphere. If you bend this (sometimes called chevron tesselation) in one direction, the shape will turn into a hypar (pringle) shape. I could send you a file I made 3 years ago, that uses a single parallelogram to make the pattern, but again, you won't be able to make it spherical. You'll need some other pattern, but I can't tell you which one (because I dont know). I think the pattern used in the video I linked to in your previous discussion could be the one you need. Since origami is not something I know much about I'm afraid I can't help you further.
