Missing Sections

Good Evening

I am having some trouble sectioning a Solid object, for some reason its only giving me odd sections, missing out odd layers. Its as if parts of the solid object are not there.

Hi Nick,
It' because some of the section curves are not closed curves. This will happen with a solid which is not "watertight" and it looks as though this is the case with your model. How did you create the solid?

i lofted a load of vertical curves to create a surface. Then used the offset from surface tool to create the solid. i think the problem is that when i first offset the surface it ends up in 4 sepperate sections. ive tried various methods of rejoinging them, but that seems to be the core of the problem.

Have you any tips to offseting the original surface to make it 'watertight'
