Yes I knew that and changed it but I thought they are somehow different.

Maybe you could see why that node is red in my file.

it might be just a version issue but in any case the node is red for me and I can't figure out why.

this gh file needs a 3dm in order to work. I cant see anything without it.

Change name of the variable input to x!!

Ah, thanks, I did try that before but apparently I had to re-drag the Area to the X in order for it to register...
