algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey Guys.

I'm currently working with a plugin called Millipede. In this plugin in there is a function called "Iso Surface".

I came across a definition for the plugin, started using it and modified it slightly.

Mainly I'm interested about the Iso Surface (in the red box), what does it, how does it work!

For example how does the definition bend the "iso surface"? What is the iso surface, is it a plane surface with holes in it? What is the iso surface box doing?

I would really appreciate it if u could explain the whole definition in a couple of sentences so i can completely understand it.

I will attach 2 files, the definition itself and a rendering I made with it in Grasshopper, hope that helps!

Hey man! really interesting definition!

However there are some components that I don't undertand. In particular "satellite" and "attvalues". Could you please explain what components are those?

Your Definition.png  does not create the Iso surface you show in your Rendering.pdf
If I construct a .gh file from your Definition.pgn all I get is a grid of 3x3x3 points, You need an Iso formula which needs to be plugged into the ISO Surface component.the 6 red points simply run around the 3x3x3 point cube!

you need to change the bbox from "per object" to "union box". just right click on it and you'll find the option in the menu. It should work than

Thanks! ... I also misunderstood what those 2 components were doing.
I thought they were similar to how attractors influence a geometry equation
that would normally be written into an Fx component after which it would be attached to the ISO surface component.

Actually it would be interesting to see how attractors could be used to change complex Iso surface formulas :)
