Miles to KM

Hej, I am doing a site investigation with mosquito and i stumbled upon the most simple problem - the results I am getting are in miles where I would love to have them in kilometers - any idea how I could make this conversion?

I have attached the file as well - thanks in advance.

Miles -> Kilometres

multiply by 1.60934

I can't get the function to work and/or convert the panel into a number - maybe I should have said that first :) I know how to do it manually but I would like it to stick to my file and automatically convert.

also I got an interesting error after I wrote this message - any ideas? or should I open another post for this one?

Well the "3.5 mi" must be text, since it contains a space and the unit name. You'll have to convert it to the number 3.5 before you can perform any maths on it. I recommend using a Text Replace component to get rid of the " mi" bit, then you should be able to multiply the result by the conversion factor.

The "Document Units" component in Human will handle all this for you in one swoop, if your Rhino document is in Kilometers - it can interpret the text and the units and will convert to the units your document is currently in.
