Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I have constructed a grid shell dome where the grid was projected onto a surface, to enhance the structural perfomance I want to do a mesh relaxation.

I tried to use kangaroo, but it doesn´t seem right, figure attached.

Does anyone have an idea how to do it?

Maybe I have to apply force density to relax the mesh, but how do i apply the FD component from kangaroo?

Those kinks look like they are the result of a load distribution which does not take into account the length of the elements.

Presumably you are applying the same load to each point, but it would be better to do something like this:

True, the same load was applied on each node, but these kinks are there still after I tried the method above.. I have attached the gh-file
