algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I'm looking to offset a mesh in the XY direction but I'm also using an attractor point. The mesh is curved and naturally offsets in the XYZ and I'm not sure how to maintain the height of the mesh (in elevation) and also the 'amplitude' distance in the XY?
I'm not really sure how to approach this, is it a case of deconstructing and constructing vectors? Any help would be appreciated, I've attached an IMG and the Project Files.
I will eventually be replacing the attractor point for a series of curves (I think).

If you mean to offset each vertex with a vector parallel to the XY plane, look at the attachment.
Better this.
