Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Is there any way to reduce the mesh faces in grasshopper but keep the original shape of the object? I have too many mesh faces and can't even make 2D or make a section cut in Rhino. I need help. Any suggestions or comments? Thanks

Hi Karen

I am copying some developers in Finland, who, I know, have been working on providing this type of functionality in Rhino for .Net (RhinoCommon and thus Grasshopper).

Thanks,

There is a Rhino command for this, called 'ReduceMesh'. The developers are working on porting this to Grasshopper, but for now, only the Rhino command is available.
