algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello Juliana,
I don't think you will get an answer without uploading your files...
cheers,
nikos
It looks like you're trying to split the mesh with a plane. There's a component for this that will give you the results both above and below the splitting plane, and it should run lighter than mesh difference does.
I tried this ppção with mesh division , however it does not generate any results.
File GH
There is no geometry internalised in your gh file.
Please read this post and upload your file(s) again.
Thanks,
nikos
ps. did you check David's suggestion above?
Sorry! Follows the two files..
Isn't this the same question as in the other post?
No, the batteries have nothing to do with this, my suggestion was to move the Rhino geometry (lines, points, etc) to 0,0,0.
Still, if you want to get the top or bottom part of your mesh, the right way is what you did in the other post, using [MSplit], not [MDif].
Ah ta I understand .. Thank you for the help!
btw, here is a simple solution so that you don't have to change wires every time you reset kangaroo. Double click the boolean toggle to set it to false and then change it again after kangaroo has started.
