Mesh Curve Intersection

Hi,

I am having problems with the "Mesh Curve Intersection" component. The highlighted points show intersection between the curve and the mesh. However, they do not appear to intersect in the viewport and i would assume the neighbour curve would intersect as well, which it does not. 

Any ideas?
