algorithmic modeling for Rhino
HI...........HI I AM TRYING TO CONVERT MULTIPLE SURFACES INTO A SINGLE SURFACE ....
SO THAT I CAN SUBDIVIDE IT IN GRASSHOPPER AND APPLY SOME SORT OF PATTERN OVER IT.....

You can use the _MergeSrf command with the Smooth=No option. However if you can create the surface cleanly from first principles, that would be better. MergeSrf results in a surface with stacked internal knots. This can cause problems further down the line.
yeah ...... i have already tried mergesrf..... but it creates problem in grasshopper when i try to subdivide the surface ..... the file becomes heavy...
I can't figure it out either. You'd think that curves this similar could be easily converted into a clean nurbs-surface, but every command I try just generates a mess. I didn't manage to get it to work through code either. It almost worked, but the surface I generate deviates from the narrow arcs in the middle section.
I've put this problem on our internal slack channel, let's see if any of the Rhino tech experts have any ideas.
Welcome to
