Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Overview Video

Detailed Instructions Video

I've had some requests for sharing Meerkat.  And I didn't want to release it until I finished the next version, but now I realize that second release may be a long time coming.  It is a utility for displaying/cropping shape files in Rhino/Grasshopper.

Here it is!  Enjoy at your own risk!

Most likely it is a projection issue. Take a look at your .prj file and swap it with another that is appropriate for the new york region.

Or:

Check if the output from the initial projection looks more like lat and long in decimal degrees... in that case you might re-project from lat long in an additional step.

Thank you for your suggestions! I used QGIS to examine the shape files and noticed that no matter what CRS I used the projection remained the same. At that point I started to suspect it wasn't carrying over somehow, but was not sure. I'll check the steps you've listed and see if I can resolve.

Also, side note as I am a little new, where is the folder that would have the .prj file in it?
