algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi everyone,
I have a script for daylight analysis but the calculation doesn't run and it gives me this error.Did find anything on related on the other discussions.*see image
I used the same script a lot few months ago and it worked properly.I have no idea if it is a bug or an update issue.
I don't know how to script so any help will be much appreciated.
Thank you,
N
1. Expression generated an error for (x, y): Function Round is undefined for parameters: null & double

Whats in the Factor output ?
Daylight factor (%). there are no results it is NULL
The Round function only works if x is a number and y is an integer. It seems that now x is not a number, it's a null value. Your problems appears to be upstream, you have to figure out why Factor is Null, instead of a number.
Hi David,
Thanks for the fast reply.
You think that the problem is not the expression but I should check whether the Diva component is working right, to generate the result as a number?
I don't know if you opened the file, x used to be a number the value of daylight factor and it worked just fine.
I have the latest Radiance installed, and diva doesn't have an update. So again I don't know any other ways to fix this.

I have neither Radiance nor DIVA installed, so I did not open your file. Sounds like a question for the DIVA developers.
Thank you David.I appreciate your time and effort.
I also posted the error at the diva page when I opened it here.
Can i ask you something else? :D I am struggling with Octopus for multi objective optimization.Would love if you have a minute to give your input.
