Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have four points and I need to join them with lines so that the wires in grasshopper don't intersect ... Is there any elegant way of doing this? ... Thanks in advance ...

I have been trying 2 or 3 ours and the answer is merge and polyline ... thank you ...

can I somehow decompose the polyline to lines?!

I need the lines again!

I need to compute the distance

Same idea, but using the power of lists.

wow ... what are these components? what is the name? and the explaniation of that, what the do? ... thank you michael!

Where are all these 4 points in grasshopper, that are in rhino, when using that code? ... Can I extract these points again from the first components? How to use these things? What are they called? ... Thanks again.

The first component is a Gene pool component the second circled one is a sort list component.

highly suggest you look at the tutorials page or else you will have a question for everything. All the info is there.

ok now I have the vertices as a list ... How can I get the Points themselves back from this list? ...

 Vertices = Points

But I thought you were after the line segments Output S

use a [Length] component to give you the distances between points

how does the component "Split list" work? ... The input for this component is: The List itself and an integer number ... What does this number mean??
