Make Grasshopper create Dimensions in Rhino on the fly

Hi

as it looks Grasshopper can measure length etc but not draw dimensions in Rhino.
Attached is a screenshot with a chair design and we would like to be able to
make GH to automatically update the radial and diameter dimension inside Rhino.

Is there any ability to do that? I see here some issues because the dimension
position is hand placed in Rhino.

Is there maybe a way to measure the radial and diameter of those circles in GH
and maybe at a given point simply bake a text object which represents those
values ?

Hi Claas,

Grasshopper has no conception of Dimension objects at all at the moment. It's been asked for many times so I'll try and add support for linear and radial dimensions. They will be annoying objects to create from scratch since a single Dimension is controlled by many parameters and styles.

well that is my concern here as well.

that is why I mentioned just having a text draw option would be already ok.
you might have to run GH to see it but that would be nice.

I can measure the radius inside grasshopper of course.
