I wouldn't recommend using Parallels. Things will run much faster if you use Bootcamp instead and run Windows properly. Just search for installing windows on os x over on youtube. I think they just stopped the free update to Windows 10, but might be still going. Google is your friend..
Yea Thanks Armin,
I´m back on GH because of Millipede, which does not run on Rhino 4 that I have for Win...
So no, not getting back to Windows at all I think, staying on OSX !!
unless I update WIN Rhino 4->5...
Ok, I can understand that, Rhino and GH are the only reason I still run Windows on my iMac. But Rhino 5 for OS X costs exactly the same as an update for Rhino 5 for Windows and Millipede doesn't run on the OS X version yet as far as I know. Since you have to pay either way, I would recommend getting the Rhino 5 Windows upgrade and running it on Bootcamp rather than Parallels.
I see, as far as I have understood the Millipede runs OS X......??
Millipede is written in #C so it does not run on OS X then ...
Rhino on Mac is in principle capable of running C# code, and in fact already does run a lot of C# code. However if the code relies on assemblies that are not available on Mac OS then it will not work.
The Grasshopper for Mac developers though hang out on the mcneel discourse forum, it's better to ask Mac specific questions there.
Yea,
the question remains will the Millipede work on OS X Rhino5 ?
Welcome to
Grasshopper
