algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear all,

I'm trying to sweep or loft a controlled curve section. What I want is to have each section on the poly-line control points pointing perpendicular out from the line. However the z axis should be vertical.

My indention is to control the location of the section curve points with attractors.

I thought this would be a simple thing to do, but i've had to go back to basics creating the attached monstrosity from bits and pieces. One thing that could really help is to be able to put a plane together using x, y and z axis...

I have made a stab at this and got quite far, but as you can see the sections flit over in some places.

The solutions is overly complex and there must be a prettier and simpler solution.

I'd appreciate any help.

One other issue is that moving points in a direction based on individual planes. the x, y and z unit vectors are only based on the world plane and the Unit Vector only works for individual plane z axis...
