You just need to flip one of your curves using the 'flip curve' component. It's the same issue you run into in rhino when you select different sides of 2 curves when lofting. You just need to realign them. Hope that helps.
Well with 2 curves the loft is going to be open. You could select closed loft but i dont think that's what you want. If you want a surface rather than brep (polysurface) make sure the curves are each single curves (if made up of multiple smaller segments, join them). then you can rebuild the curves and loft to get a single surface. Rebuild with lots of control points if the curves have to be very precise. If not, a few will do.
Also I think you want to be using the surface divide component (not domain divide).
