algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello,
So I did this thing recently where I was able to loft a spiral such that there was no gap between the curving surface. I can't remember how I did it though. It looked something like the image I have attached below. I've tried to create points on the spiral and create lines that are perpendicular it so that I can loft those but the data tree doesn't create the desired order of indices. Can someone please help me with this. It's driving me crazy. I have attached an image and the grasshopper file below.
Thank you!

going to assume you attached the wrong gh (apologies if not, hopefully still applicable) and just did it on a random spiral I created.
Tried doing something really complex.. before realizing the actual solution is simpler than generating a spiral in the first place :P
The ends are a bit meh, if you want it to act like the attached image and kind of unravel, the (inner)ends of the subcurves need to be pulled out a bit somehow..
Mind you, if the spiral is really tight in certain areas and super loose in others, you may get weird results :/ there's a 'spiral tightness' slider but it only helps it so much, and couldn't quite figure out how to account for that without having multiple lofts..
Sweet! Thank you so much. Really appreciate it!
By the way, I'm trying to understand the logic of how you got it to loft. How exactly did you get the subcrv component to loft the curve through domains. I guess what i am asking is what exactly is the subcrv component doing?
