Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys I have some problems with the loft component in GH.

The attached definition is supposed to populate a surface with a series of cones, but in the end the loft fails on some cones.

Any Idea on how to solve this problem

Thank you in advance

The problem seems to be connected to the sweep surface, sometimes if I change the sweep surface everything goes fine (?!?!?)

Mauro

The problem is with the circle radius, it is a gh/rhino issue that the curve direction gets flipped sometimes when the circle is too small, I don't think there is a way to avoid this but here is a simpler definition that gets this problem less often.

Hi Mauro Sogni,  I Think this strategy will help you for sure.

Actually cross refence strategy it is better , just clean Loft Option and it seems that your definition work fine. I don´t see any problems

Thanks Michael, as i see i was giving wrong directions in this case.

Thank you guys I found a way which give me good results by redefining the centroid of the surfaces...I will try Michael idea because it is really shorter than mine :-)

thank you
