algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello everyone,
Sorry for my English, I'm an Italian student and I have a problem.
I can't adapt to the loft the parametric geometry that i defined, without that this geometry will deform.
I'd like that the loft will have a minimun deform not the geometry.
Can you help me ?
Thank you
RP

Your question isn't clear to me and looking at your files doesn't help at all.
I want aplly to a surface a geometry, this geometry doesn't change size and all the pieces on the surface or loft have the same dimension.
i try to attach this geometry to the surface with "Morph" (paneling), but the result is that i have all the geometry stretch and with different size.
Thank you very much for your reply, but i have anoter question.
if i want replicate the texture that you can see in the attachment with otehr geometry, how can i do it?
If your hexageometry is tiny enough, you can cover the target surface with just one size tile.
It's almost like mosaic tiling which you can adjust the surface with tiny tile and joint.
Another way that you might be able to try is particle simulation method like "Kangaroo plug-in" in GH.
In this simulation, you can apply some sort of restrictions to your initial geometry(ie ; edge length , angle ...)
or also you can use packing algorithm. But the later one is a big subject so, too difficult to deal with here.
