algorithmic modeling for Rhino

i'm trying to offset these grid (with clipper plugin )and loft them, but i can't do this...

if anyone can help...

Yea, I did not see the "Z" direction part until after. It was not in the main description :D

isn't this the same as [scale]-->[move]-->[loft]?

It is the same as scale.

Okay, thinking about this more I can achieve a good loft by offsetting using a loop carrying along the original curves original discontinuity points through each iteration via closest point.

you need the anemone plugin: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/anemone

and the mesh loft from mesh tools (its faster than normal loft): http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/milkbox/forum/topics/mesh-pipe-a...

So now when an edge gets "eaten" by offset, the points go to that merge and create the correct triangulation while still maintaining the proper offset.
