Loading .3dm files directly in GH

Hi all

I'm currently working on a project where we need to orient and multiply a range of facade elements. To make the model more resilient I would like to import/reference the facade elements directly in grasshopper. Have had a look around but haven't found a solution.

Anybody have a suggestion on strategy here? Anything is welcomed also plug-ins.

Hi Morten...have you checked out Finches? It has an import component...I haven't played with it too much, but it may suit your purposes.

Thanks David! Must have misread the description of Finches, so thanks for advice.

Its definitely what I want to do, with the downside that it loads the geometry into Rhino first. The Finches plug-in will work as a work around if nothing else comes up.
